At Cloudside we want all children to know what is meant to be a historian. They will become immersed and inspired by what they see around them, how and why it has come to be that way and what effect it has on them and their lives. The will support all children to gain knowledge, understanding and transferrable skills through the active use of key historical concepts.
At Cloudside, we recognise and understand the context of our community. With 41% pupil premium, some of our pupils will have access to experiences such as museums, while others may not. Within the curriculum, there are opportunities to ensure all children share the same experiences.
The design of the curriculum brings history directly to the child and bridges the gap between events that have happened and how it relates and has impacted each individual.
